Euclid Releases ClearVantage 7

Bethesda, Maryland – Today, Euclid Technology, based in Bethesda, Maryland, announced that it has released ClearVantage 7.0, the next version of its Enterprise Management System for associations and other member-based organizations.
According to Euclid’s President and CEO, Charles Vinal, ClearVantage 7 “is the most significant product release in Euclid’s 10 year history. ClearVantage 7’s user interface has been significantly overhauled so that almost any form can be easily configured, using simple drag and drop, to meet a user’s unique needs. Usability enhancements, such as transaction wizards and action panels, reduce training time and boost productivity. The business intelligence interface, already the best available, is easier to use and more powerful. For users running Microsoft’s Vista operating system, ClearVantage 7 leverages the new Areo interface and the workflow foundation.
Perhaps even more exciting than the user interface update is the new architecture of ClearVantage 7 – the first version to leverage Euclid’s new Service Oriented Architecture. This architectural change significantly increases performance and lowers maintenance costs and also allows other applications and developers to more easily leverage ClearVantage’s comprehensive functionality. Some of the technical highlights of the new architecture include extensive use and support of AJAX and XML for web development, end-to-end encryption and compression of data exchanged between consumer and provider web services, and support for an almost infinite number of application tiers. These technical features result in unmatched usability, performance, scalability and security.
Euclid also continues to impress with its new system’s facility to process information. ClearVantage 7 is able to thoroughly take advantage of dual, quad and 64-bit processors in order to provide its users with quick and efficient performance. What this means is that the new software has the capability of creating reports, accessing member information, and searching through thousands of member records in just a matter of seconds.
Finally, one of the most valuable additions, especially for existing clients is the ease of upgrading from ClearVantage 6 to 7. In contrast to other competitors, who may insist on clients purchasing new licenses or going through a second, arduous implementation, Euclid’s only requirement for an update…is for its clients to simply login and continue business as usual.
