Bethesda, MD – Euclid Technology is pleased to announce that the Cincinnati Bar Association (CBA) has chosen ClearVantage as its new association management software (AMS) solution. Founded in 1872, CBA is a non-profit organization comprised of 4,500 legal professionals practicing in Southwestern Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana. One of the larger local bar associations in the country, it has more than 60 professional practice and board level committees; offers approximately 100 continuing legal education (CLE) programs annually; and hosts dozens of events designed to serve the needs of the Greater Cincinnati community.
In its search for the right vendor, experience within the industry was a high priority. “We needed to build a relationship with a vendor that would be able to understand the issues an organization like ours faces every day," says the CBA's Director of IT, Michael Davis. "We consulted with vendors and surveyed many bar associations to find the best AMS. We found that in its 11-year history, Euclid had achieved great credibility and a strong reputation. The work Euclid had done at the District of Columbia Bar Association and the Colorado Bar Association showed us that Euclid had the experience to get a project like ours done right." He said the CBA wanted to partner with a company that would focus on the CBA. "Euclid is 'client-centric’ and treats us like we are their first client," Davis adds.
Software that was highly functional integrated and very intuitive was also important factors in CBA’s decision-making process. After managing membership information on multiple databases, CBA sought an AMS that would help increase efficiency across all areas of its organization. “Ease of use and complete integration of all of our databases into one system was a big decision factor for us,” continues Davis but the decision was also about the software itself. "ClearVantage is designed to benefit the end user. It seems that everything is just one click away," Davis notes. "It is highly functional software, well integrated and very intuitive. After using multiple databases to manage our membership information, this improved efficiency was very important to us." More than that, Davis says the software is able to include the CBA's referral system into its AMS -- a critical need for the organization. “We operate a sophisticated lawyer referral system that matches a client’s case with the appropriate lawyer willing to take the job. Euclid was one of the few vendors able to build and effectively integrate this referral system into its AMS,” Davis concluded.
“We are thrilled to be working with the Cincinnati Bar Association. Staffed as it is with people who are committed to offering the best service to its members and to the public, CBA is just the type of client that we look forward to partnering with and building a long-term relationship,” notes Charlie Vinal, Euclid Technology’s CEO. “The Cincinnati Bar Association joins our growing list of bar association clients that we now have across the country. Our selection here is a testament of not only our software but to the commitment of our experienced staff in working closely with our clients to successfully implement a solution that meets each bar association’s specific needs and objectives.”
